in Leuven, Belgium tune in via FM 106

Dakka Dakka is the longest running radio show on one of Belgium's first free radio stations: Radio Scorpio (FM 106). Thursdays between 20:00 and 21:00 Dakka Dakka provides students and locals in the city of Leuven with their dose of guitar oriented music, be it Metal, Punk or Rock, in the widest sense. We play anything ranging from Led Zeppelin to Napalm Death, Type O Negative to Fugazi and Monster Magnet to King Crimson.

This is Dakka Dakka: New Releases: each week we play loads of new releases, from a wide variety of independent labels. / Interviews: whenever an interesting recording artist contacts us, we do an interview with them and play one of their songs. / Specials: we sometimes do specials about a certain band, label or genre. On very rare occasions such a special can take the entire hour.

A message for labels and independent bands:
Contact us for airplay. Read our guidelines to see how you can provide us with material. Are you wondering what kind of show Dakka Dakka is? Are you not sure if sending in a promo-copy of your latest release would be worth your while? Well, reading this might help you make up your mind.
