Machine Men : MAchine Men (EP)

This Finnish band plays excellent Melodic Metal with Iron 
Maiden influences. In fact, one of the earliest incarnations 
of the band was as an Iron Maiden cover band. This does not 
mean they are a rip-off though. This 5 track EP doesn't have 
weak moments, all five songs, including the Iron Maiden cover 
'Aces High' are entertaining and well written. Anyone into 
classic Metal should listen to Dakka Dakka in the near future, 
for we'll be playing two songs from the EP. The first one is 
'The Slave Trade', a song with a very fat Black Sabbath-
influenced riff and their version of 'Aces High', which stays 
close to the original but with a more dynamic sound due to a 
more up-to-date approach of the production.
